Outline Itinerary

Day 1- Arrival in Tbilisi. Transfer to Hotel. Registration.

Day 2- Tbilisi. Sightseeing of old town. Metekhi, Narikala, Karvasla, Art Gallery, Visiting Wine House on Gagarine square.

Day 3- Wine Plant No 1 (petriashvili str.), "Samtresti" Enoteca (including Stalin's collections). Drive to Mtscheta (21 km). Surrounding sightseeing. Old Christian architectural monuments (6-13th C. ).

Day 4- Sagaredjo Wine Plant "Sameba". Degustation of chosen samples. Visiting Fortress-Town Zwerbi, Center of Khizikhi.

Day 5- Tsinandali Wine Plant. Home-museum of Al. Chavchavadze. Gremi (16-17 C.), Alaverdi (11 C.), Shuamta (16-17 C.) temples.

Day 6- Drive to Telavi, center of Eastern Georgia. Erekle's Castle.

Day 7- Kvareli. Home-museum of Ilia Chavchavadze and Sandro Achmeteli. Wine Plant and Wine Vault.

Day 8- Departure from Tbilisi.
